In motion
The layered lines slide across the face as the viewer moves, making the gaze appear to change. The expression subtly realigns with perspective while the vivid pink accent remains a visual anchor.

About This Artwork
Oh Dear is a layered pop art portrait of Twiggy, the model and cultural icon associated with 1960s fashion. Her distinctive gaze becomes a suspended moment of surprise, vulnerability and theatrical tension, while the short title leaves the emotion deliberately open. Painted across separate plexiglass layers in 2018, facial lines subtly realign as the viewer moves, bringing Twiggy’s expression and Fabian PhiL’s changing-perspective technique together.
