About This Artwork

Wanted for Loving Art is a layered pop art portrait of Kate Upton that turns affection for art into a playful offence. The Wanted format gives Kate Upton a character, while the Pop Glasses language adds colour and a shifting gaze. Painted across plexiglass layers in 2023, the eyes, glasses and facial lines move as the viewer changes position. The combination of celebrity portrait, humour and perspective encourages a second look.
